Interview with young british kicboxer in front of his upcoming fights in Oktagon Underground: The Last Man Standing. GLORY fighter is going up and tomorrow will compete at 70 kilos. What we can expect from him? Let´s see in interview and prepare for tomorrow Oktagon Underground One Night Grand Prix.
First of All, thanks for your time. When did you begin with kickboxing and combat sports at all?
I began Combat sports at age of 4. My dad moved his kickboxing club to its current home 20 years ago. So fighting is all I ever knew. My dad is former professional WKA World Champion and my eldest brothers have been very successful also. Check them out Chad & Regis.
What is the most valuable title, thing or moment in your career so far for you?
Fighting and winning on my Glory Kickboxing debut at Madison Square Garden against a tough and experienced Arthur SorSor.
In less than three days you will have a fight in Grand Prix in Oktagon MMA, how does your weight goes right now?
My weight is good I normally compete at -65kg so 70kg is easy but I feel strong and sat around 73/74kg currently.
Is it hard to train during COVID-19 in England? How does it affect your casual training routine and training camp?
I am lucky I am a professional fighter so have been able to continue to train and it’s my dads gym. Sparring has been more awkward and we have had to stay in UK for preparation. Normally I would visit The Colleseum Gym in Utrecht for a few weeks.
Does it affects you, that you will fight above your natural weight class?
I would prefer to fight at -65.0kg but I will fight and feel strong also at 70kg. I am 23 and growing all the time and developing my skills strength and power. It will be a challenge but I love a challenge.
Did you do a research about your opponents and if so, is there something you can share with us?
My dad and brothers have looked at the other competitors in this tournament. I am focused on bringing the best version of me.
Do you have experience like fighting with small gloves and fighting inside the octagon?
I have fought in a cage before and on one occasion In small gloves. I can’t wait to do it again.
What we can expect from you on saturday, some prediction?
You can expect me to bring the fire. My fighting style and spirit is strong and I won’t be broken, so who ever I fight I will look defeat in explosive fashion. You can expect Fight of The Night x 3.
Finally, if you want to tell something to our fans, your time is now. Thanks for all.
I would like to thank all the Czech fans as already I have had some nice messages and well wishes. I feel the Czech fans are like the British fans and very passionate I love Czechs.
